The interior is elegantly appointed to soothe and please the senses, and includes exposed wood beams, beautiful fir and slate flooring, porcelain pedastal sink and tile shower. An efficient wood stove provides a rustic warmth, or you may use the electric heating for hassle-free comfort. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped--you can actually prepare meals in it!--and fresh-roasted coffee beans are always on hand.
The view is relaxing or exhilarating, depending on the weather. The porch and cedar Adirondack chairs provide a comfortable, sheltered vantage point from which to enjoy it, whether it's warm, cool, hot or blustery.
The site--27 woodland acres on the banks of the Chehalis River--is quiet and private, providing room to walk, fish, run, ride, read, nap, cook, sit, sup, sip and watch the river flow.
The Chehalis River Cabin is located in southwest Washington, 17 miles west of I-5 at Centralia/Chehalis. It's only a 45 minute drive from Olympia, and under two hours from either Seattle, Washington or Portland, Oregon.
